18-Year-Old Killed Racing with Friend
According to reports, 18-year-old Jonathon Parker was racing 19-year-old Paul Snyder down a two-lane road.As the teens approached oncoming traffic, Snyder attempted to move into the northbound lane to avoid a collision. His car hit the front left side of Parker's vehicle and both drivers lost control of their vehicles.
Parker's car hit a tree and he died at the scene. Snyder fled the scene, but witnesses helped identify him.
He was contact by police on his cell phone and returned to the scene.
The crash is still under investigation.
