3 injured after dump truck hits boat trailer in Danbury Township | Danbury, Ohio Car Accident Lawyer
Three people were taken to hospitals after a two-vehicle crash on Bayshore Road, just east of Englebeck Drive.Ricky Fenton, of Port Clinton, was driving a 1989 International Dump Truck at the time of the crash, which occurred on Saturday.
Fenton was taken by medical helicopter to St. Vincent's Hospital in Toledo. He had non-life threatening injuries, according to the Sandusky post of the Ohio Highway Patrol. He was not listed as a patient Sunday afternoon.
The other vehicle, a 2005 GMC Sierra was pulling a fishing boat on a trailer and was driven by Bobby Farmer, of Hamilton. His passenger was Ian Goddard.
Both men were taken to Magruder Hospital in Port Clinton with non-life threatening injuries.
Both vehicles were traveling west on Bayshore Road when Farmer's vehicle slowed down to turn left into a private drive. Fenton failed to stop his vehicle and struck Farmer's vehicle in the rear of the trailer. The boat trailer detached and went off the right side of the road.
