The new campaign "Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over" has police all around the country inncreasing efforts to keep drunk drivers of the streets. Police in Northwest Ohio are a part of this campaign. Oregon Police will be targeting State Route 2, State Route 51, Starr Avenue, Wheeling, Coy Road and Pickle Road.
Authorities are going to be working extra hours, funded by a grant. They will be looking for impaired drivers, enforcing traffic laws and monitoring speed and seat belt violations.
Driving impaired is not worth the consequences, says authorities. The enforcement blitz is scheduled to end Labor Day weekend.
