Deputy Sheriff crashes cruiser | Huron Ohio car accident attorney

The Charles E. Boyk Law Offices, LLC would like to report that Monroeville police are still investigating a two-vehicle accident involving a Huron County sheriff's deputy who was transporting two inmates.
Deputy Shannon Lyons, was driving a 2006 Ford Crown VI cruiser south on U.S. 20 Friday night. She approached the intersection at Ohio 547, with the vehicle's overhead lights and sirens activated, according to the Monroeville police report.
Lyons continued through a red light at the intersection, traveling about 45 mph, and slammed into the passenger's side of a westbound 2006 Pontiac being driven by Thomas C. Smith, Smith's vehicle had been going about 15 mph.
The collision caused Smith's vehicles to spin 180 degrees.
Neither Lyons nor Smith reported injuries. However, one of the two inmates, Jeremiah S. Egnor, was transported to Fisher-Titus Medical Center by EMS. The other inmate, Justin D. Ramsey, was not injured.
