Gibsonburg woman killed in crash with bus | Toledo Bus Accident Lawyer
A Gibsonburg woman died after the car she was driving struck a school bus head-on, according to a report. Diana L. Lau, was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident, which occurred at 1:30 p.m. in Bay Township, the Sandusky Post of the Ohio Highway Patrol reported.
Lau was driving a 1997 Chevrolet Lumina north on Ohio 53 just north of Ohio 2. Rayanne J. Smith, of Port Clinton, was driving a Port Clinton City School District bus south on Ohio 53. Smith and her only passenger on the bus, Michelle L. Barnette, of Port Clinton, were taken to Magruder Hospital with minor injuries.
The patrol said Lau drove left of the center line and her car struck the bus. The accident is still under investigation at this time.
