Marion man hospitalized after car-truck accident | Marion, Ohio Car Accident Lawyers
A Marion man remained hospitalized Monday after his car collided with a tractor-trailer in the intersection of Ohio 67 and Ohio 294 at 9:40 p.m. Sunday.Jorge Oswaldo Rivera Muralles, 26, was transported by LifeFlight helicopter to Toledo's Mercy St. Vincent Medical Center. Hospital officials reported Monday evening that Muralles remained in the trauma unit and no condition had been assessed to him.
The Bucyrus post of the State Highway Patrol reported Muralles was driving a Honda Civic on Ohio 294 when he failed to stop at a stop sign and collided with a semi operated by Allan Gilbert, 56, of East Liverpool, who had been traveling on Ohio 67.
The crash remained under investigation Monday. Alcohol was believed to be a factor in this accident, the patrol post reported.
