ERIE COUNTY
State Route 2
SR 2, between the State Route 13 and Berlin Road interchanges, is reduced to one lane of traffic in each direction for bridge repairs. The project is expected to be complete in September 2012.

US Route 6 - ***NEW***
US 6, just east of Frailey Road in Vermilion Township, will close Monday, October 10 for a culvert replacement project. The detour route for eastbound motorists is US 6 to State Route 61, south on SR-61 to State Route 2, east on SR-2 to State Route 60, north on SR-60 to US 6, and reverse for westbound motorists. The road is expected to reopen on October 25, 2011.

State Route 61 - ***NEW***
SR 61 (Lake Street), between Mechanic Street and Mason Road in the Village of Berlin Heights, will close Monday, October 10 for improvement work. The detour route for northbound motorists is SR-61 to State Route 113, east on SR-113 to State Route 60, north on SR-60 to State Route 2, west on SR-2 to SR-61, and reverse for southbound motorists. The road is expected to reopen at the end of October, 2011.

Ferndale Drive
Ferndale Drive, between Superior Street and George Street, is closed as part of the US Route 6 railroad grade separation project. Motorists may use Superior Street and George Street as alternate routes. The road will reopen in early November, 2011.

HURON COUNTY
State Route 303
SR-303, 0.5 mile west of State Route 60, is closed for a bridge replacement project. The detour route for eastbound motorists is SR-303 to SR-60, north on SR-60 to U.S. Route 20, east on U.S. 20 to State Route 511, south on SR-511 to SR-303, and reverse for westbound motorists. The road is expected to reopen in late-October 2011.

LORAIN COUNTY
State Route 2
SR 2, between Baumhart Road and Oak Point Road, is restricted to one lane of traffic in each direction as part of bridge repair project. The project is expected to be complete in late-October, 2011.

State Route 2 - ***UPDATE***
SR 2, at its bridge under Oberlin Road (between State Route 58 and Middle Ridge Road), has night time single lane closures in each direction as part of a bridge replacement project. The work zone will be in place each work night from 7:00 p.m. through 6:00 a.m. the following morning. Two lanes of traffic will be maintained at all times throughout the daytime hours; however, one lane of traffic will be maintained in each direction during the night. The project is expected to be complete in mid-October, 2011.
• Oberlin Road is closed as part of this bridge replacement project. Motorists are encouraged to use Middle Ridge Road, Cooper Foster Park Road and North Ridge Road as a detour route.

Gulf Road
Gulf Road, over Interstate 90, is closed for bridge replacement work. The detour for northbound motorists is Gulf Road to Burns Road, east on Burns Road to State Route 301/Abbe Road, north on SR 301 to State Route 254, west on SR 254 to Gulf Road, and reverse for southbound motorists. This project is expected to be completed in late October, 2011.

Nagel Road
Nagel Road, over Interstate 90 (between Chester Road and Avon Road), is closed as part of the new interchange construction project. The detour route for southbound motorists is Nagel Road to Chester Road, west on Chester Road to Jaycox Road, south on Jaycox Road to Detroit Road, east on Detroit Road to Nagel Road, and reverse for northbound motorists. The road is expected to reopen in September 2013.
