Ohio 53 more dangerous than ever | Port Clinton Ohio car accident lawyer

An investigation is still underway after another fatal Saturday night crash in Bay Township, Ottawa County, involving four vehicles.
The crash occurred around 10 p.m. Saturday night on Ohio 53 outside of Port Clinton.
The report shows that Richard England, of Marblehead, was driving a 1993 Ford Explorer when he attempted to pass a 2011 Chevrolet Equinox traveling north.
While in the southbound lane, the Explorer collided with a 2006 Jeep Commander that was traveling south on Ohio 53. The Explorer then hit a second vehicle, a 2004 Hyundai Sonata, in the rear.
England was not wearing a seatbelt, at the time of the crash and he was ejected from the vehicle. Englad was pronounced dead at the scene. Jason England, Oak Harbor, was the front passenger in England's vehicle. He was wearing a seatbelt and suffered non-life threatening injuries in the crash. He was taken by EMS to Magruder Hosptial in Port Clinton, Ohio.
The driver of the Jeep, Doris M. Celian, of Maumee, and passenger Sujata Hegde, of Toledo, were both wearing seat belts at the time of the accident.
The driver of the Equinox, Meredith Fritz, 26, of Northwood, was wearing a seatbelt and was treated at the scene of the accident by EMS.
The driver of the Hyundai, Mary Hartman, and her front seat passenger, Eleanor Greear, were wearing seatbelts and were not injured.
