Taking a trip along the Ohio Turnpike will get a little more expensive starting January 1st. The turnpike is 241 miles and connects Pennyslvania and Indiana. This is the first raise in toll prices in two years.The cost to travel the entire way will move from $15.00 to $16.50. This seems like a big jump, but other states are doing the same as well.
Turnpike officals say that in order to ensure the health of future budgets, the increase is needed.
