Port Clinton child killed in head-on crash| Toledo, Ohio Car Accident Attorney

The Charles E. Boyk Law Offices are saddened to report about a 4-year old girl who ultimately died in a three-vehicle crash on East Harbor Road.

Jaylah Chaffin, 4, of Port Clinton was pronounced dead at the scene. Jaylah was in the back seat of a 2009 Honda Civic driven by her mother, Kimberly Chaffin.

The Civic was headed east on East Harbor Road at about traveling behind a 1989 Ford F150 driven by Zach Barrere.

Troopers said the pickup stopped to turn left into a private driveway but the Civic failed to stop, striking the pickup from behind.

The collision caused the Civic to flip onto its left side and slide several feet, into the path of oncoming traffic which in turn another vehicle struck Chaffin's Civic.

Holder was flown from the scene by medical helicopter to Mercy St. Vincent Medical Center in Toledo.

Chaffin, Zach and Hannah were all taken by ambulance to Magruder Hospital in Port Clinton to be treated for injuries.
