Port Clinton High School Junior dies in car accident | Toledo, Ohio Car Accident Lawyers

We are saddened to hear the news that a Port Clinton High School Junior, Natassia Ramirez, was pronounced dead at the scene. She was killed when an SUV she was in collided into the back of a flatbed truck on Fremont Road in Bay Township.

The Ford was headed south on Ohio 53 when it ran into the back of a southbound flatbed truck that had stopped to turn into a private drive. The driver of the SUV, David Darr, received minor injuries and was treated at the scene.  The driver of the flatbed truck, Brain M. Hickey, of Sandusky, was not injured. It was reported that all three occupants in both vehicles were wearing seatbelts.

Teens and teachers at Port Clinton High School remember Natassia Ramirez as a dear friend and talented student.The 16-year-old junior aspired to be surgeon and was a member of the Future Physicians of America.

"Natassia was a delightful young lady. Just a great kid and a great student," superintendent Pat Adkins said Wednesday.
