The recent snow storm has created unsafe roads. Black ice is a big part of the many accidents that have occurred over the past week. Last week a UPS truck driver was in an accident right near the 142 mile marker on I-70, just west of Centerville Road, when Nuh K. Nur of Ohio was driving too fast for conditions.
The truck was westbound and slid off the north side of the road.
Nur was listed in good condition at Reid Hospital late Monday morning. Police said he complained of neck and leg pain at the scene of the crash, but was walking around.
Police said UPS workers spent several hours after the crash unloading packages from the downed semi.
The truck was on its side along the road until it was towed away Monday morning.
