On October 30, 2009 Ashley Snyder looked at her phone to read a text from a friend as she was driving. She did not see the semi-tractor trailor that was in front of her and slammed into the back of it. bothe AShley and her unborn son were killed in the accident.On Sunday, family and friends gathered near the scene of the accident to remind others of the dangers of exting and driving. Ms. Snyder's sister said, "Your life is more important than a text message." Ms. Snyder's mother said that texting and driving was something that Ashley did everyday, but you just never know what is going to be in front of you.
