Woman charged with drunken driving with child for 2nd time | Toledo Ohio personal injury attorney

The Charles E. Boyk Law Offices would like to inform you that a woman who was found guilty of drunken driving with her child in the car in June, was arrested Monday night on another drunken driving offense.
Mentor police arrested Tomeka Stockwell, after they found her car stopped on the side of Ohio 2 with a flat tire shortly before midnight.
Police said the woman had her 4-year-old son with her. She was charged with drunken driving after she failed sobriety tests and refused blood tests.
According to court records, she pleaded not guilty Tuesday in Mentor Municipal Court to charges of operating a vehicle while intoxicated, child endangering, driving with a suspended license, failing to properly restrain her child in the car and not wearing a seat belt.
Court records show that on June 20, the woman was found guilty of driving drunk in Mentor with her 3-year-old son in the car while she was 8 months pregnant.
She was sentenced to 90 days in jail and a $675 fine, but the jail time was suspended when she agreed to attend a driver awareness program and perform two days of community service.
The woman's son was released to the custody of a grandmother.
